PESHAWAR: In a significant move to promote women empowerment and recognize female excellence, the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme (PMYP), in collaboration with the Bint-e-Hawa Forum (BHF), has announced the 5th Bint-e-Hawa Achievement Awards 2026, a national initiative to honor outstanding women from across Pakistan.
A press release issued here said that the announcement was made during a meeting between Chairman PMYP Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan and a delegation of the Bint-e-Hawa Forum at the Prime Minister’s Office.
The meeting focused on strengthening women empowerment initiatives and finalizing preparations for the upcoming awards ceremony, which is scheduled to be held in Islamabad.
Speaking on the occasion, Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan reaffirmed the government’s commitment to encouraging and supporting women, particularly young women, acknowledging their vital role in Pakistan’s social and economic development.
1He said that the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme continues to provide platforms that highlight women’s achievements and create opportunities for their growth.
He informed that registrations for the Bint-e-Hawa Achievement Awards 2026 will open after February 10 through the PMYP online portal as well as the official Bint-e-Hawa Forum website to ensure maximum participation from across the country.
The Bint-e-Hawa Achievement Awards 2026 will recognize 30 exceptional women in 12 categories, including Lifetime Achievement, Education and Literature, Entrepreneurship, Social Impact, Technology and Innovation, Sports, Healthcare, Media and Arts, Climate Action, Youth Excellence Award, Women in Leadership, and Community Development.
The Bint-e-Hawa Forum delegation was led by Founder Alamzeb, accompanied by Sabahat Javeed and Lariab.
The PMYP team included Joint Secretary Dr Muhammad Ali Malik, Tariq Khan Marwat, Shahid, and Unaiza.
Both sides discussed collaborative efforts to ensure transparency, inclusivity, and nationwide outreach during the nomination and selection process.
The meeting concluded with a shared resolve to strengthen platforms that amplify women’s voices, recognize their achievements, and contribute to inclusive and sustainable national development.
