PESHAWAR: Talented players from the Under-15 and Under-17 age groups of the Future Star Cricket Academy, Peshawar, led by academy owner Kulsoom Kundi, visited Governor House Peshawar on Tuesday and met Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi.
During an interactive session, the young cricketers shared their experiences, challenges, and future aspirations with the Governor. Governor Faisal Karim Kundi assured the players of all possible support and termed cricket the most popular sport in Pakistan, describing young players as the nation’s most valuable assets.
He highlighted that the soil of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has produced renowned cricketers at national and international levels and expressed confidence that more talented players would continue to emerge from the province. Encouraging the youngsters, the Governor emphasized that discipline, hard work, and dedication are the keys to success. He also advised the players to continue their education alongside sports and to move forward with a positive mindset.
On the occasion, coach Aman Zeb and academy owner Kulsoom Kundi thanked the Governor for his encouragement and support for young talent. The visit concluded with a group photograph, as the Governor extended his best wishes to the players for a bright and successful future.
