PESHAWAR: Peshawar Medical College (PMC) and Peshawar Dental College (PDC) jointly organized a prestigious White Coat Ceremony and oath-taking event, formally inducting newly admitted medical and dental students into their professional journey.
Prof. Prof.Dr.Zahoor Ahmad Swati, Director RIU, Peshawar was chief guest while the ceremony was graced by Prof. Dr. Najibul Haq, Patron, Prime Foundation, Prof. Dr. Hafeez Ur Rahman, Dean, PMC, Prof. Dr. Saeed Anwar, Executive Director, Dr. Samad, CEO, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Aman Khan, Principal, PMCand Prof. Dr.Mohammad Raza, dean, PDCand prof. Dr Ayesha Abdullah.
During the event, students took a professional oath, pledging to uphold ethical medical and dental practices, serve humanity with compassion, and adhere to the principles of honesty, responsibility, and lifelong learning. The speakers congratulated the students and stressed the significance of the white coat as a symbol of trust, professionalism, and dedication to patient care.Earlier alumni shared their experience with the fresh participants.
The ceremony concluded with the formal donning of white coats, marking the beginning of the students’ academic and professional commitment to the healthcare profession.
