MARDAN: Commissioner Mardan Division, Javed Marwat, has said that saving one human life is equivalent to saving all of humanity. He expressed these views while addressing a ceremony held to honor a local youths, Nigar and Sami ullah, for their brave and timely action in rescuing a drowning woman at Kalpani Bridge.
The commissioner said that the courage and presence of mind shown by the youngmen is a matter of pride for the entire community. They both risked their own lives and jumped into the water to safely rescue the woman, demonstrating exceptional bravery and a strong sense of humanity.
On the occasion, Secretary to the Commissioner Fazal Wahid and Assistant to Commissioner Revenue Daud Khan were also present. Commissioner Mardan Javed Marwat awarded them certificates of appreciation along with a cash prizes in recognition of their selfless services.
He further stated that they are the true assets of society, as they act without any personal gain and put their own lives at risk to save others in times of need. The commissioner emphasized that people who set examples of courage, compassion, and sacrifice will be encouraged at all levels to promote positive values in society.
Nigar Khan and Samiullah thanked Commissioner Mardan Division Javed Marwat for appreciating and recognizing his efforts.
