PESHAWAR – The 14th Indus River Water Cross Jeep Race will be held on February 1 at the historic Hund Swabi Indus River site, organized by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Culture and Tourism Authority in collaboration with the Frontier 4×4 Club.
About 100 drivers from Peshawar, Islamabad, and other cities are expected to participate in this thrilling adventure event. The race will feature three categories:
•Zero to 6000 cc Open
•Zero to 3000 cc
•Ladies’ category
Director General of KP Culture and Tourism Authority, Muhammad Usman Mehsud, highlighted that the event aims to promote tourism, water sports, and adventure activities in the historic Hund area. Every year, the race draws a large number of tourists eager to witness the excitement of the Indus Water Cross Jeep Race.
Officials present at the announcement included Director Admin and Finance Shahryar Mahmood, Director Tourism Muhammad Ali Syed, Deputy Director Events Sanam Bashir, and President Frontier 4×4 Club Babar Khan.
This annual festival continues to be a flagship event for adventure tourism in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, combining sport, history, and tourism in a unique experience for participants and spectators alike.
