ABBOTTABAD: To review departmental performance at the regional and district levels, Additional Secretary, Excise, Taxation and Narcotics Control Department, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Syed Mazhar Ali Shah visited Abbottabad and carried out inspections of the Excise and Taxation Office, Abbottabad, and the Excise Police Station.
During the visit, the Additional Secretary held a meeting with Irshadullah Afridi, Director Hazara Region, who briefed him on the overall departmental performance, ongoing initiatives, and the prevailing administrative situation in the region.
On the occasion, Imad Jadoon, Excise and Taxation Officer, Abbottabad, apprised the Additional Secretary of the district’s revenue recovery status and progress against assigned targets.
While inspecting various sections and examining official records at the offices and the Excise Police Station, the Additional Secretary directed the concerned officers to ensure public facilitation, transparency, timely completion of records, and strict administrative discipline.
He further emphasized that public complaints must be addressed without delay and instructed that all official matters be handled strictly in accordance with the prescribed laws and rules, in order to improve service delivery and strengthen public trust.
