PESHAWAR: Popular and talented Pashto singer Imran Swati has completed the recording of a significant new single aimed at promoting peace, brotherhood, and regional harmony, delivering a strong message of friendship between Pakistan and Afghanistan.

In this unique and meaningful musical collaboration, Imran Swati represents Pakistan, while renowned Afghan singer Himmat Gul lends his soulful voice on behalf of Afghanistan, symbolizing unity and shared cultural heritage through music.

The song has been directed by Ahmed Nawaz, with editing by Sahibzada. According to sources, the track has been produced in the Pashto language, with lyrics centered on peace, love, and brotherhood, reflecting the shared joys, sorrows, and deep cultural bonds of people living on both sides of the Pak–Afghan border.

The song conveys a clear message that the peoples of Pakistan and Afghanistan are not enemies, but are instead connected through centuries-old ties of history, language, culture, and traditions.

Sources revealed that the music is a beautiful fusion of modern and traditional Pashto melodies, recorded using high-quality audio technology. A music video is also expected to be filmed soon, showcasing the cultures, scenic beauty, and everyday lives of people from both Pakistan and Afghanistan.

His latest peace anthem is being viewed as a significant contribution by music lovers and peace advocates.
