PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Culture and Tourism Authority (KPCTA), in collaboration with City Traffic Police and Peshawar Bikers, organized a bikers’ rally on the occasion of Kashmir Solidarity Day, in Peshawar to express solidarity with the people of Kashmir.
The rally commenced from Chamkani, Peshawar, and passed through Khyber Road before reaching Bab-e-Peshawar, Hayatabad, and concluded in Peshawar Saddar. Bikers from various districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa including Charsadda, Kohat, Nowshera, Mardan, Khyber, as well as Attock, actively participated in the rally.
Speaking at the concluding ceremony, Director General KP Culture and Tourism Authority, Muhammad Usman Mehsud, stated that the people of Pakistan stand firmly with the Kashmiri community in their just struggle for freedom and the right to self-determination. He strongly condemned the ongoing human rights violations by Indian forces in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), saying that such oppression is unacceptable and will not be tolerated.


“The struggle for the freedom of Jammu and Kashmir will continue until the Kashmiris achieve their rightful independence,” he added.
During the rally, participants displayed Pakistani and Kashmiri flags on their motorcycles and raised slogans in favor of Kashmir. The bikers also held a solidarity walk along GT Road to further highlight their support for the Kashmiri cause.
At the end of the event, the Director General distributed certificates among bikers and officials of City Traffic Police and Tourism Police in recognition of their participation and cooperation.
