PESHAWAR: The road cycling competitions of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Under-21 Games concluded successfully at Regi Model Town, Peshawar, with young cyclists from across the province showcasing impressive skill and competitive spirit.
The closing ceremony was attended by President Pakistan Cycling Federation and South Asia Cycling Confederation, Syed Azhar Ali Shah, as the chief guest. Director PDA Regi Model Town, Sohail Feroze, was also present on the occasion.
In the competitions, the Mardan team delivered an outstanding performance, winning three gold medals to secure the overall first position. The Peshawar team finished second with three silver medals, while Hazara Division claimed the third position, winning the team bronze medal.
Addressing the event, Syed Azhar Ali Shah praised the performances of the young cyclists and emphasized that such competitions play a vital role in identifying and nurturing talent at the grassroots level. He assured full support for the promotion and development of cycling in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The role of Organizing Secretary Nisar Ahmed was highly appreciated for the smooth conduct of the event, with participants and officials commending the overall arrangements and organization of the competitions.
