SWAT: President of the Swat Business and Manufacturing Association (SBMA), Naseem-ur-Rehman, has congratulated Director General Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) Nauman Bashir and Deputy Director Zahid Muhammad on the successful organization of the Wexnet Women Exhibition in Peshawar.
He said TDAP plays a vital role in strengthening the national economy, and its exhibitions provide meaningful encouragement to skilled workers and small-scale entrepreneurs. Naseem-ur-Rehman noted that high-quality products manufactured in Swat are now gaining recognition not only at the national level but also internationally due to TDAP’s initiatives.
He added that this recognition has enhanced the confidence of local manufacturers and artisans while ensuring fair compensation for their craftsmanship. According to him, Swat’s products consistently remain the center of attraction at exhibitions, and the increasing demand for these products is generating new employment opportunities for the local population.
The SBMA president suggested that TDAP should organize an annual exhibition in Swat to further facilitate local business owners in showcasing their products to national and international markets.
Naseem-ur-Rehman also appreciated the efforts of DG TDAP Nauman Bashir, Deputy Director Zahid Muhammad, and the entire TDAP team, expressing hope that the authority will continue to launch such initiatives in the future to create more avenues for growth and development of local manufacturers and skilled workers.
