Bajaur: In Bajaur, security arrangements have been finalized in view of the upcoming holy month of Ramadan. A key meeting was held at the District Police Office under the chairmanship of Waqar Rafiq, where Circle DSPs, SHOs, and other relevant police officers participated.
During the meeting, a special security plan for Ramadan was approved, under which more than 200 police personnel, including traffic police, will be deployed across the district. Additional security will be assigned during Iftar hours, Taraweeh prayers, at central mosques, markets, shopping centers, and other crowded places to ensure a peaceful and secure environment for citizens.
The DPO directed officers to further strengthen the patrolling system during Ramadan, keep a close watch on suspicious individuals, and ensure search and strike operations at sensitive locations. He emphasized that the protection of citizens’ lives and property is the top priority of the police, and any negligence in this regard will not be tolerated.
He also urged the public to cooperate with law enforcement agencies and promptly report any suspicious activity to the nearest police station or the police helpline. According to Bajaur Police, all available resources will be utilized to ensure a safe and peaceful Ramadan for the community.
