Dera Ismail Khan: A grand Taraweeh ceremony was organized at Nizami House, the residence of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Tehsil Ameer Dera Kafeel Ahmad Nizami, on the occasion of the completion of the recitation of the Holy Quran.
Renowned religious scholar Maulana Khawaja Usman from Kundian Sharif attended the ceremony as the special guest. The event was attended by Haji Nizamuddin, Haji Imamuddin, Shakeel Nizami, Naveed Nizami, Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Muhammad Fazlur Rehman, Maulana Zia-ur-Rehman, PA Yousuf Jan, former Justice Daud Khan, Media Homes CEO Muhammad Rehan, along with a large number of scholars, dignitaries from different areas, and local citizens.
On this occasion, Maulana Khawaja Usman delivered a special address highlighting the virtues of the Holy Quran, the significance of its recitation, and the importance of Islamic teachings in daily life. He urged Muslims to follow the teachings of the Quran and Sunnah and to promote unity, brotherhood, and peace within society.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, special prayers were offered for the security, stability, and peace of the country, the welfare of the Muslim Ummah, and the development and prosperity of Pakistan. A charity distribution was also organized on this occasion.
