Dera Ismail Khan:
In view of the prevailing law and order situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) spokesperson Muhammad Aslam Ghauri has issued an advisory urging party workers and office-bearers to refrain from visiting the native village of Maulana Fazlur Rehman during Eid days.

According to the statement, it has been a long-standing tradition for JUI workers to visit Abdul Khel, the ancestral village of Maulana Fazlur Rehman, to extend Eid greetings and meet the party chief. However, due to the deteriorating security situation in recent years, such visits have been discouraged in the interest of public safety.

The spokesperson emphasized that all workers and party officials, regardless of their district or proximity, are requested to strictly comply with these instructions and avoid traveling to Abdul Khel for meetings during Eid.

He further stated that the decision has been taken as a precautionary measure in light of current circumstances, urging party members to cooperate fully and prioritize safety by adhering to the advisory.
