Bajaur: In a swift and coordinated operation, Salarzai Police and the Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) successfully neutralized suspected explosive material in the Tarepasha area of Bajaur.
According to details, the operation was carried out on the directives of District Police Officer (DPO) Bajaur Muhammad Khalid. The action was led by SHO Police Station Salarzai, Muhammad Aslam Khan. Acting on credible information regarding the presence of suspected explosive material in the area, police personnel and the BDS team were immediately dispatched to the site.
The BDS team cordoned off the area and, following all necessary safety protocols, professionally disposed of the explosive material, preventing any potential loss of life or property. The timely response ensured the safety of the local population and avoided a possible incident.
The DPO appreciated the efforts and professionalism of SHO Muhammad Aslam Khan, the BDS team, and other personnel involved in the operation. He stated that Bajaur Police remain vigilant at all times to safeguard the lives and property of citizens and are fully prepared to respond to any threat.
He also urged the public to immediately inform the nearest police station in case of any suspicious bag, explosive material, or doubtful object to enable prompt action and prevent untoward incidents.
