A prestigious certificate distribution ceremony was held on June 12, 2025, at Women University Mardan to mark the successful completion of the Women Empowerment and Mentoring Program. This special initiative was designed to empower women, enhance their leadership abilities, and prepare them for professional advancement. The program focused on building confidence and promoting structured mentorship among female participants.
A total of 12 mentors and 32 mentees took part in the program. Through interactive training sessions, the participants not only gained knowledge but also shared valuable insights and experiences, creating a strong culture of peer learning and support.
The event was graced by Dr. Rasul Jan, former Vice Chancellor of the University of Peshawar, who attended as the chief guest. Mr. Suleman Ahmed, Director of the National Academy of Higher Education (NAHE), participated as the guest of honor.
In his address, Dr. Rasul Jan emphasized the need to promote women’s leadership and strengthen their role in national development. He lauded Women University Mardan for taking a visionary step toward female empowerment and called the initiative a model for other institutions to follow.
Mr. Suleman Ahmed, an experienced academic leader known for his contributions to faculty development and higher education reform in Pakistan, also addressed the audience. He highlighted the significance of mentorship programs in nurturing talent and bridging the gap between academic training and practical leadership. He encouraged the university to continue investing in such impactful initiatives, especially those focused on uplifting women in academia and beyond.

In her concluding remarks, Vice Chancellor Dr. Razia Sultana expressed her heartfelt appreciation to the guests, organizers, trainers, and participants. She stated:

The ceremony concluded with the distribution of certificates among participants, and special recognition was given to women who actively excelled during the program.
