Dera Ismail Khan: On the special directives of Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sohail Afridi, a tree plantation drive was organized at District Central Jail Dera Ismail Khan on the third day of Eid (March 23), under the supervision of IG Prisons Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Rehan Gul Khattak.
On this occasion, Member National Assembly Faisal Amin Gandapur and Deputy Commissioner Dera Abdul Nasir Khan visited the jail, where Superintendent Jail Ijaz Khan Mehsud received the guests. During the campaign, approximately 300 saplings were planted within the jail premises.
Speaking on the occasion, the guests stated that tree plantation is the need of the hour, as it helps reduce environmental pollution and improve the overall environment. They urged citizens to actively participate in this national campaign to ensure a clean and green environment for future generations.
