ISLAMABAD: US Consul General Thomas Eckert met with Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi at the Governor House in Islamabad.
During the meeting, both sides held detailed discussions on matters of mutual interest, promotion of bilateral relations, development projects in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and investment opportunities in the province. The role of Pakistan in promoting global peace and stability was also discussed.
Governor Faisal Karim Kundi highlighted that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa offers vast investment opportunities and stated that the federal government and law enforcement agencies are actively working to maintain peace in the province to ensure progress and prosperity.
He also appreciated the trust shown by the United States in Pakistan’s mediatory role in the Iran-US tensions.
US Consul General Thomas Eckert praised Pakistan’s peace-oriented policies and acknowledged the efforts of Governor Faisal Karim Kundi in projecting a soft image of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and addressing public issues in the province.
