Bajaur: A tragic incident occurred in the Dog Lam Shah area of Mandal, where the roof of a house suddenly collapsed, resulting in the deaths of four people and leaving one seriously injured. According to Rescue 1122 sources, the deceased include two women and two children, while the injured was immediately shifted to the hospital in critical condition. As news of the incident spread, an atmosphere of grief and fear gripped the area.
Rescue teams acted promptly, pulling the victims out from under the debris and shifting them to DHQ Hospital Khar. However, four victims could not survive. Hospital sources stated that due to the critical condition of the injured person, they were referred to Peshawar for further treatment.
As soon as the incident was reported, the district administration also sprang into action. On the directives of Deputy Commissioner Bajaur, Shahid Ali Khan, Tehsildar Khar Habib ur Rehman visited the site, expressed condolences to the affected family, and offered prayers for the deceased. On this occasion, the district administration provided immediate relief to the affected family and assured them of full support. The incident serves as a tragic reminder of the dangers posed by dilapidated structures and the urgent need for effective safety measures.
