Bajaur. On the special directives of
Deputy Commissioner Bajaur, Mr. Shahid Ali, Assistant Commissioner (Headquarters) Khar, Dr. Sadiq Ali conducted a detailed visit to the Jinnah Bus Terminal Adda. The primary purpose of the inspection was to ensure the provision of proper transport facilities to the public, transparency in fare rates, and overall convenience for passengers. During the visit, the Assistant Commissioner thoroughly reviewed the fare structure of taxis, passenger coaches, and other operating vehicles, and gathered relevant information from on-site drivers and terminal management.
It was observed during the inspection that a sufficient number of passenger vehicles were available at the terminal, and students were being accommodated in taxis and coaches according to the officially notified fare rates. This arrangement is proving to be a source of relief for the general public, especially students. Several passengers expressed satisfaction, stating that they personally prefer taxis as their first choice, followed by coaches as an alternative.
Assistant Commissioner Dr. Sadiq Ali issued clear instructions to the terminal manager to ensure full compliance with the fare rates set by the district administration. He also warned that any complaints or violations in this regard would result in strict legal action against the responsible parties.
