Staff Report

Islamabad: Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs, Gilgit-Baltistan and SAFRON, and President of Pakistan Muslim League (N) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Engineer Amir Muqam, has strongly rejected the recent statement made by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, calling it “irresponsible and provocative.”

In a statement issued on Saturday, Engineer Amir Muqam said that the Chief Minister’s remarks were not only a blatant misuse of his official position but also tantamount to inciting innocent workers towards unrest. He stated, “Instead of steering the province towards stability and development, the Chief Minister is once again promoting chaos and violence — and, as usual, will flee, leaving the workers behind.”

Engineer Amir Muqam questioned how a Chief Minister could openly call on workers to take up arms against the state. “This is clearly an attempt to spread fear and disturb the law and order situation in the country,” he said, adding that the statement is an insult to the office of the Chief Minister.

He remarked that such statements reveal the true intentions of those elements who want to destabilize the country, particularly at a time when the federal government, under the leadership of Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, is working day and night to revive the economy and restore public confidence.

He added, “These people are panicking because the PML-N government has once again put the country on the path of economic progress. Their anti-state agendas will never succeed.”

Engineer Amir Muqam, President of PML-N Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, urged the public and all political leaders to reject the politics of hatred and division and to stand united for peace, development, and national stability.
