PESHAWAR: The High-Level Movement Induction and International Humanitarian Law three-day Workshop held in Karachi concluded.
The Chairman of Pakistan Red Crescent Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Branch, Mr. Farzand Ali Wazir, represented the provincial branch.
The PRCS National Headquarters Chairperson, Ms Farzana Naek, provincial chairmen and the movement partners’ high-ups also took part in the workshop. The event was aimed to bring together Governance and top Management from the PRCS National Headquarters (NHQ), Provincial Chapters, and Movement Partners to strengthen the unified humanitarian framework across Pakistan.
In his concluding remarks, the PRCS KP Chairman Farzand Ali Wazir said that he would like to extend sincere gratitude to the organizers for organizing such a meaningful and timely forum. “I highly appreciate the efforts made to bring together governance leaders, top management, and Movement Partners under one platform to reinforce our collective humanitarian mission”, he remarked. “We have gained valuable insights into the Fundamental Principles of the Movement, International Humanitarian Law, coordination mechanisms, humanitarian diplomacy, and the importance of unity within the Movement’, he added.
He said that the Pakistan Red Crescent Society Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Branch would remain fully committed to implementing the lessons learned during this workshop and further strengthening humanitarian services for the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, adding that let us move forward with renewed commitment, stronger coordination, and a shared vision of humanity, dignity, and service.
