KOHAT: A meeting of sanitary inspectors and field supervisors was held under the chairmanship of Head of Administration and Operations Tahir Afif, during which the special cleanliness campaign plan for Eid-ul-Azha was finalized.

During the meeting, sanitary inspectors and supervisors of all urban areas were assigned special duties for Eid-ul-Azha operations.

Speaking on the occasion, Head of Sanitation and Operations Tahir Afif said that to create public awareness about the Eid-ul-Azha cleanliness plan, WSSC Kohat will air radio programs and display banners on major roads across Kohat city. He added that the organization’s media team will also distribute awareness pamphlets and dissolvable bags in various areas.

He further said that religious scholars have been requested to highlight during Friday and Eid-ul-Azha sermons the importance of disposing of sacrificial animal waste at designated places, maintaining cleanliness, conserving water, and cooperating with WSSC Kohat staff.

Tahir Afif also informed that the WSSC Kohat complaint center will remain operational throughout the three days of Eid. Citizens of urban areas can register complaints through helpline number 1334, and immediate action will be taken for their resolution.
