Bajaur: Under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government’s public-oriented “Awami Agenda,” Assistant Commissioner (Headquarters) Khar, Dr. Sadiq Ali, carried out inspections of petrol pumps in Khar and its surrounding areas on the directives of Deputy Commissioner Bajaur, Mr. Shahid Ali.
During the operation, three petrol pumps were sealed on the spot for overpricing, short dispensing (under-measurement), and other irregularities. Several other violators were fined in accordance with the law.
According to the district administration, this campaign against illegal petrol pumps, profiteering, and consumer exploitation will continue regularly. Strict action will be taken in light of public complaints to ensure the provision of quality services at official rates.
