BEIJING: Pakistan and China marked 75 years of diplomatic relations with the signing of two landmark Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) aimed at accelerating economic growth, technological advancement, and agricultural development under CPEC 2.0.

The agreements were signed with China’s National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) and the China International Development Cooperation Agency (CIDCA). The NDRC agreement focuses on cooperation in macroeconomic planning, artificial intelligence, mining technology, and youth capacity building under the URAAN Pakistan 5Es Framework.

The CIDCA agreement includes grant assistance for agricultural machinery and a fully funded technical training program in China for Pakistani personnel, aimed at strengthening agricultural productivity and food security.

The initiatives reflect the enduring Pakistan-China partnership and a shared commitment to sustainable development and economic progress.
