CHITRAL: The final of the Commander Peshawar Corps Junior Polo Cup 2026 was played in a vibrant atmosphere in Chitral, featuring an exciting contest between the teams of Chitral Lower and Chitral Upper.
After a thrilling and closely contested match, Chitral Upper emerged victorious and claimed the championship title.
A large number of spectators from different parts of the region gathered to witness the traditional sport of polo and enthusiastically cheered the players throughout the match.
Abdullah Raza was declared the Best Player of the Final for his outstanding performance and contribution to his team’s victory.
At the conclusion of the event, the Corps Commander Peshawar, who attended as the chief guest, distributed trophies and prizes among the players and congratulated both teams on their excellent display of sportsmanship and skill.
The ceremony was attended by senior civil and military officials, along with a large number of local residents and sports enthusiasts.
