Karachi: Additional Inspector General of Police Karachi, Azad Khan visited the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) to review security arrangements and assess the overall security preparedness.

The Karachi police chief was accompanied by the SSP City and other senior police officers during the visit. He was briefed on the existing security framework, deployment plans, surveillance mechanisms and measures in place to ensure the safety and security of the exchange. He also interacted with police personnel deployed there, appreciating their professionalism and dedication. He directed officers to remain vigilant and perform their duties with utmost alertness to effectively address any security challenges.

During the visit, the police chief met with the Chief Executive Officer of the PSX and other senior officials. The meeting focused on matters related to law and order, the smooth conduct of business activities and the importance of maintaining a secure environment to strengthen investor confidence.

Reaffirming Karachi Police’s commitment to public safety, Azad Khan said the police is employing modern technology, effective policing strategies and professional expertise to maintain peace and order across the city. He emphasized that Karachi Police remains fully prepared to prevent crime, protect citizens and ensure the security.
