PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Information and Public Relations Shafi Jan has said that the provincial government has prepared a balanced, realistic, and people-friendly budget aimed at addressing public needs and accelerating the province’s development.

He stated that Chief Minister Sohail Afridi has approached the Islamabad High Court to seek consultation and a meeting with PTI founding chairman Imran Khan regarding the provincial budget. The objective is to ensure that public priorities and the leadership’s vision are effectively reflected in the budget-making process.

Shafi Jan said the upcoming budget will focus on youth empowerment, job creation, Digital Khyber Pakhtunkhwa initiatives, economic growth, and the promotion of merit. He added that education, health, infrastructure, and public welfare sectors have been given special attention.

The minister emphasized that despite limited resources, the provincial government remains committed to public service and development. He said available resources will be utilized efficiently for the welfare of the people and the overall progress of the province.

According to Shafi Jan, under the leadership of Chief Minister Sohail Afridi, the budget will serve as a comprehensive roadmap for public welfare, economic development, and prosperity in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
