THAILAND: Pakistan’s young cycling talent made the country proud at the Asian Balance Bike Cycling Championship being held in Thailand, where two young riders delivered impressive performances against strong international competition.

Muhammad Hassan secured 10th position in the Boys 2 Years category, while Ahmed Hassan finished 12th in the Boys 4 Years category, showcasing remarkable determination and skill at a prestigious continental event.

The championship, which has been organized at the national level for many years, was expanded this year to include participants from across Asia, attracting young cyclists from numerous countries.

President of the Pakistan Cycling Federation, Syed Azhar Ali Shah, lauded the parents of both riders for encouraging their children to compete internationally at such a young age. He said their support and commitment were instrumental in providing these young athletes with valuable international exposure.

The parents are accompanying and supporting the children throughout the championship, while the Pakistani contingent is being managed by Haroon General, who is overseeing team affairs in Thailand.

The participation and encouraging performances of these young cyclists reflect the growing popularity of cycling in Pakistan and highlight the promising future of the country’s emerging sporting talent on the international stage.
