Chairman PCP donates Relief Supplies, Six Wheelchairs and Oxygen Concentrator

Friends of Paraplegics (FoP) held an introductory meeting with the Chairman and executive members of the Board of Governors Paraplegic Center Peshawar.
On the occasion, the General Secretary of Friends of Paraplegics, Engr Irfanullah, overviewed the organization’s performance, mission, and objectives. He highlighted the organization’s efforts to promote the rights, empowerment, universal accessibility, and economic self-reliance of persons with disabilities, as well as its ongoing welfare initiatives aimed at improving their quality of life.
During the ceremony, Chairman and former Chief Secretary of the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Dr. Shahzad Bangash, along with members of the Executive Board, distributed five customized wheelchairs and one electric wheelchair among individuals with spinal cord injuries and polio-related disabilities. In addition, Friends of Paraplegics donated a modern oxygen concentrator to the Paraplegic Center Peshawar to further strengthen its patient care services.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Shahzad Bangash highly appreciated the valuable contributions of Friends of Paraplegics and expressed his commitment to strengthening future collaboration through joint initiatives and community-based programs for the welfare and empowerment of persons with disabilities. He said it was encouraging to see an organization dedicated to ensuring that persons with disabilities enjoy dignity, independence, equal opportunities, and improved access to essential services.
