ISLAMABAD: District Police Officer (DPO) Mohmand, Raza Muhammad, has said that police have significantly strengthened the district’s security system through modern policing strategies, advanced technology, and intelligence-based operations to ensure lasting peace and protect the lives and property of citizens.
In a special interview, he said more than 102 police checkpoints have been established across the district and equipped with modern facilities, weapons, and protective gear. Around 3,000 police personnel are performing round-the-clock duties, including patrols, search operations, checkpoints, and intelligence-led actions to maintain law and order.
Raza Muhammad said surveillance at sensitive locations has been enhanced, while security checks at entry and exit points have been made more effective. He added that modern operational vehicles and technology have improved the police’s response capability and operational efficiency.

The DPO emphasized that public cooperation is essential for sustainable peace, urging citizens to report suspicious activities promptly. He assured that the identity of informants is kept strictly confidential and that community policing remains a key part of the district’s security strategy.
He reaffirmed that Mohmand Police will continue taking firm action against criminals and anti-state elements, adding that no one will be allowed to disrupt peace in the district. He said the force remains committed to protecting citizens, upholding the rule of law, and providing a safe environment for the public.
