On the directions of the Special Assistant to the Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for Tourism & Archaeology, Malik Adeel Iqbal, Project Director KITE (Tourism) Dr. Abdul Samad, accompanied by the Project Director KITE (C&W), visited the Thandiani Road project to review construction progress and hold a community consultation.
Representatives from the World Bank, Communication & Works (C&W) Department, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and NESPAK also participated in the visit. The delegation reviewed ongoing work, engaged with local community and stakeholders, and emphasized the importance of maintaining construction quality and timely execution.
The visit reaffirmed the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s commitment to completing the Thandiani Road project on schedule, enhancing tourism infrastructure, and improving connectivity for local communities and visitors alike.
