PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Swimming Association (KPSA) President Captain (R) Khalid Mahmood visited the ongoing swimming training camp at the Adil Khan Swimming Pool, Qayyum Sports Complex, on Saturday to review preparations for upcoming national competitions.
He was received by KPSA General Secretary Javed Marwat, Shafqat Ullah, Mubeen Ahmed Khalil and Shah Sawar Orakzai.
During the visit, Captain (R) Khalid Mahmood praised the dedication of the coaches and expressed confidence that the training camp would produce encouraging results in the forthcoming national events. He also announced that complete kit bags would be provided to swimmers representing Khyber Pakhtunkhwa at national competitions.
The KPSA president assured the swimmers and coaches of the association’s full support and pledged to provide the best possible training facilities to help them excel.
The training camp is being supervised by Mubeen Ahmed Khalil with the assistance of Shah Sawar Orakzai. Captain (R) Khalid Mahmood also announced plans to facilitate advanced coaching courses for talented young coaches, including Shah Sawar Orakzai, as part of efforts to further strengthen the development of swimming in the province.
