BAJAUR : Newly appointed District Police Officer (DPO) Khan Zaib has officially assumed charge as the head of Bajaur Police. In his first public message after taking office, he said that ensuring the safety of citizens, maintaining law and order, and upholding the rule of law would remain his top priorities.
DPO Khan Zaib stated that a safe, peaceful, and prosperous society can only be achieved through mutual trust, cooperation, and partnership between the police and the public. He urged citizens to support Bajaur Police by promptly reporting suspicious activities and assisting in crime prevention and the promotion of lasting peace across the district.
He assured the public that Bajaur Police would continue to perform its duties with professionalism, transparency, impartiality, and a people-friendly approach. He further stated that his office would remain open to every citizen and that every possible effort would be made to address public grievances and resolve their issues.
Meanwhile, elders of the Tarkalani and Utmankhel tribes welcomed the appointment of Khan Zaib as the new DPO of Bajaur and pledged their full cooperation in maintaining peace and combating crime in the district.
