MOSCOW: Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova has condemned the terrorist attack on civilian facilities in Nizhnekamsk, Tatarstan, on August 10, saying that at least 13 people were killed, most of them foreign nationals.

According to preliminary information cited by the Russian Foreign Ministry, the victims included eight citizens of Uzbekistan and one citizen of Tajikistan, while around 20 foreign nationals were wounded.

Zakharova said the attack deliberately targeted facilities where citizens of friendly countries live and work, accusing Ukrainian forces of seeking to undermine relations between Russia and other nations.

She expressed condolences to the families and friends of those killed and wished a speedy recovery to the injured.

The Russian Foreign Ministry called on the international community to condemn what it described as terrorist attacks against civilians and foreign nationals.
