PESHAWAR : A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between Medvoyge International and the Peshawar Press Club to provide club members with access to online medical consultations from leading doctors and specialists in Pakistan and abroad.

The MoU was signed by Medvoyge International CEO Dr Aamir Mir and Peshawar Press Club President Muhammad Riaz. General Secretary Alamgir Khan, Vice President Zia-ul-Haq, senior journalist Shamim Shahid, Finance Secretary Muhammad Irshad and other members of the press club were also present.

Under the agreement, members of the Peshawar Press Club will be able to seek online consultations from leading physicians and specialists in Pakistan, the United States, Europe, India and other countries. Patients will only be required to pay the doctor’s consultation fee, while Medvoyge International will not charge any additional service fee.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Aamir Mir said Medvoyge International would connect journalists with leading medical specialists around the world, enabling them to obtain expert medical advice from the comfort of their homes.

He said journalists often have demanding and busy schedules, adding that the facility would provide them with convenient access to international medical experts without the need to travel.

Peshawar Press Club President Muhammad Riaz welcomed the initiative and thanked Medvoyge International for extending the facility to journalists. He said the agreement would enable press club members to conveniently consult qualified doctors of their choice and obtain medical advice through modern online healthcare services.

He termed the initiative a valuable facility for the journalist community, saying that in today’s interconnected world, technology had made access to medical expertise from different parts of the world much easier.
