GALYAT : The four-day Future Leadership Summit 2026 concluded successfully in the scenic surroundings of Galyat, bringing together young leaders, students and aspiring changemakers from across Pakistan for an engaging programme focused on leadership, teamwork, dialogue, learning, collaboration, adventure and cultural exchange.
The summit provided participants with an opportunity to develop practical leadership skills through interactive activities, group discussions and teamwork. The programme also encouraged young people to exchange ideas and experiences, build meaningful connections and strengthen a nationwide network of emerging leaders.
Organised by the Institute of Leadership and Strategic Studies (ILSS) and the Youth Parliament of Pakistan (YPP), the summit was held with the collaboration and support of the Directorate of Youth Affairs, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa; District Youth Office Abbottabad; and Cognition Hub.
The organisers said the primary objective of the summit was to promote leadership, responsibility, teamwork and social awareness among young people and equip them with the skills and confidence needed to contribute positively to society and the future of Pakistan.
Speaking at the conclusion of the summit, Chairman of the Institute of Leadership and Strategic Studies, Faisal Jamshed Marwat, expressed gratitude to all partner organisations, speakers, participants, volunteers and members of the organising team for their contributions.
He extended special appreciation to Director Youth Affairs Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Abbas Afridi, for his continued support, cooperation and commitment to youth development. He said the positive approach and consistent support of the Directorate of Youth Affairs played an important role in making the Future Leadership Summit 2026 a success.
Marwat also acknowledged the efforts of the Directorate of Youth Affairs, District Youth Office Abbottabad, Cognition Hub, speakers, administrative staff, volunteers and participants, saying their collective contribution made the four-day programme meaningful and impactful.
The summit concluded with participants pledging to apply the knowledge, experiences and connections gained during the programme in their respective communities and to contribute towards positive social change.
The organisers described the conclusion of the Future Leadership Summit 2026 not as an end, but as the beginning of a new journey for a generation of young people committed to responsible leadership, collaboration and a better future for Pakistan.
