PESHAWAR: Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Peshawar Dr. Mian Saeed Ahmad continued the series of open courts aimed at directly hearing citizens’ grievances and ensuring their prompt resolution.
An open court was held on Thursday at Malik Saad Shaheed Police Lines, Peshawar, where women, senior citizens and other complainants presented their issues before the CCPO.
After listening to the complaints in detail, Dr. Mian Saeed Ahmad directed the concerned police officers to take immediate, transparent and effective action, resolve the issues within the stipulated time and submit written reports on the progress at the earliest.
Citizens raised complaints concerning property disputes, financial matters, domestic issues and other grievances. The CCPO instructed the concerned officers to address all complaints on a priority basis and provide complainants with every possible legal and administrative assistance.
The CCPO said that timely provision of justice, prompt resolution of public grievances and protection of the lives and property of citizens remain the top priorities of Peshawar Police. He reiterated that public service, transparency and equal enforcement of the law would be ensured at all levels.
