ISLAMABAD: The Azerbaijan Tourism Board (ATB), in collaboration with three local tourism industry partners, including Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL), has promoted Azerbaijan’s diverse tourism potential through a series of roadshows in Pakistan.

The roadshows were held in Lahore on September 15, Karachi on September 17 and Islamabad on September 19, bringing together around 200 representatives of Pakistan’s tourism industry.

The initiative aimed to strengthen cooperation with Pakistan’s tourism sector and highlight Azerbaijan’s wide-ranging tourism opportunities, including its historical and cultural heritage, winter tourism and ski resorts, health tourism and ecotourism.

A dedicated presentation also highlighted Shusha, which has been designated the Tourism Capital of the Economic Cooperation Organization for 2026.

B2B meetings were organized between Azerbaijani and Pakistani tourism industry representatives to explore new cooperation and partnership opportunities and further strengthen tourism ties between the two countries.

The events were held with the participation of Pakistani partners, including Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) and Airblue, contributing to improved connectivity and closer cooperation between the tourism industries of Azerbaijan and Pakistan.
