NORTH WAZIRISTAN: Assistant Commissioner Razmak, accompanied by SHO Razmak and Area Muharrir Sher Bahadur, conducted a surprise inspection of the Category-D Hospital Razmak on the directions of Deputy Commissioner North Waziristan Muhammad Taimoor Khan Afridi.
During the inspection, the OPD was found closed for routine patients due to a shortage of doctors. Hospital staff also stated that only five to six types of laboratory tests were currently being conducted, while several essential tests could not be performed due to the non-availability of equipment, chemicals and medicines.
The staff further confirmed that 24-gauge cannulas were not available at the hospital. The Assistant Commissioner said the observations had been reported for immediate corrective action.
