PESHAWAR: The Directorate of Youth Affairs, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, organised a one-day awareness session on marriage rights and Nikah Nama literacy for female students at Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Women University Peshawar. The session was organised by Wire Lab Solutions in collaboration with the university’s Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialisation (ORIC), with the aim of raising awareness among young women from Newly Merged Districts (NMDs) and settled areas about their basic marriage-related rights, the importance of the Nikah Nama and its key provisions. The session provided students with an opportunity to gain essential information, ask questions and develop a better understanding of their rights, enabling them to make more informed decisions regarding marriage and the Nikah Nama.
