KARACHI: Kingsmen Sports secured valuable first-innings lead points after their Group B match against Eshaal Associates in the President’s Trophy Grade-II Gold 2026–27 ended in a draw at the UBL Sports Complex.
Kingsmen, after winning the toss, were bowled out for 221 in their first innings, with Najab Khan scoring a brilliant 101 off 154 balls. Muhammad Umair claimed four wickets for Eshaal Associates.
In reply, Eshaal Associates were dismissed for 219, falling two runs short. Ashir Mehmood top-scored with 70, while Mohib Haider Bhatti made 51. Kingsmen’s Afnan Khan produced an impressive five-wicket haul for 69 runs, while Junaid Ahmad took four wickets for 57.
Kingsmen then posted 274 in their second innings, with Najab Khan contributing 62 and Syed Faraz Ali scoring 55. Muhammad Sudais took four wickets for Eshaal Associates.
Chasing 277, Eshaal Associates reached 149 for seven before play ended. Muhammad Umair remained unbeaten on 71, while Hamid Ali took three wickets for Kingsmen.
The match was drawn, with Kingsmen Sports earning crucial points for their two-run first-innings lead.
