PESHAWAR: Hamza Foundation Peshawar, in collaboration with Government Superior Science College Peshawar, organised a special blood donation campaign at the college, where students enthusiastically donated 40 units of blood for patients suffering from thalassemia, haemophilia and other blood disorders.
The campaign aimed to promote voluntary blood donation among young people and support patients requiring regular blood transfusions. Students participated enthusiastically, demonstrating a commendable spirit of humanity and social responsibility.
Hamza Foundation expressed gratitude to College Principal Muhammad Ishaq, Director of the Blood Society Professor Rashid and Chief Proctor Professor Shah Zamir for their cooperation in organising the campaign. The foundation also acknowledged the support of the college’s faculty, staff and students in making the initiative successful.
At the conclusion of the event, Hamza Foundation Peshawar’s RMO Mubarak Ali presented a commemorative shield to Principal Muhammad Ishaq in recognition of the college’s cooperation and support for the successful blood donation campaign.
Hamza Foundation urged young people and the general public to promote voluntary blood donation, stressing that a single donation could offer hope and support to patients suffering from thalassemia, haemophilia and other blood-related diseases.
The campaign concluded with the message: “Donate blood, save lives — your one donation can become someone’s lifeline.”
