PROVINCE REPORT
PESHAWAR: Chief Secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Shahab Ali Shah chaired the weekly review meeting to examine the launch of the E-Fard Portal and Digital Public Feedback System for revenue services.
The meeting was briefed that the E-Fard Portal had been formally launched, enabling citizens to obtain land records without visiting revenue offices. The service will be available through NADRA e-Sahulat centres, the official website’s self-service portal and the Dastak app.
Only users verified through NADRA biometric authentication will be able to download E-Fard. Fees will be paid electronically through OneLink and Easypaisa directly into the government treasury.
The digitally issued Fard will remain محفوظ in the citizen’s account and can be downloaded again when required. A QR code on the document will also allow online verification from the central land record system.
The meeting was also briefed on the Digital Public Feedback System, under which citizens receiving revenue services will be contacted by phone to record their satisfaction. Complaints from dissatisfied citizens will appear directly on the relevant Deputy Commissioner’s dashboard for timely action.
Citizen feedback will be used as a key performance indicator during monthly meetings of Deputy Commissioners. Better-performing districts will be encouraged, while districts showing weak performance will be asked to explain their performance.
The meeting was informed that the digital reforms would help reduce complaints, identify delays and improve public confidence in the land record system. An awareness campaign regarding E-Fard is also underway.
The Board of Revenue is also working on establishing a call centre and introducing artificial intelligence-based services to further improve revenue facilitation.
