Established in 2019, Sadaat Foundation is a nonprofit organisation working for the welfare, education and protection of orphaned and vulnerable girls in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Based in Mardan, the foundation aims to provide children deprived of parental care with a safe home, quality education, healthcare, proper nutrition and opportunities for personal development. Its mission goes beyond providing basic necessities, focusing on building confidence, character and skills so that girls can grow into educated, empowered and self-reliant members of society.
Education remains at the heart of the foundation’s mission. According to its published information, 120 girls are enrolled in different schools, receiving opportunities to continue their education and pursue their academic ambitions. Alongside education, the foundation provides residential care, food, clothing, medical assistance, counselling and character-building activities. It also focuses on life skills, emotional well-being and child protection, recognising that vulnerable children need not only financial assistance but also a supportive environment in which they can develop and realise their potential.
Since its establishment, Sadaat Foundation has worked to strengthen its institutional capacity and expand its services. What began as a local initiative in Mardan has developed into an organised effort to provide long-term care and educational opportunities to vulnerable girls. The foundation has also taken steps towards institutional development, including its registration under Section 42 of the Companies Act through the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan in June 2025. Its expansion plans include additional residential facilities, with two facilities under development to accommodate and support more girls.
The foundation has also extended its outreach beyond Mardan through its Charsadda campus in Umar Zai, reflecting its commitment to reaching more children in need. This expansion is an important step towards making residential care, education and personal development opportunities accessible to vulnerable girls in other communities. However, maintaining existing services and expanding facilities require continuous financial resources, institutional partnerships and community participation.
Despite its progress, the foundation’s mission cannot be sustained through its own efforts alone. The costs of education, accommodation, food, healthcare, clothing, staff and residential facilities create continuous financial responsibilities. Sadaat Foundation therefore appeals to philanthropists, business organisations, charitable institutions, overseas Pakistanis and members of the public to support its mission through donations, educational sponsorships, provision of essential supplies, volunteer services and institutional partnerships.
The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) gave glad tidings of closeness to him in Paradise to those who care for orphans. In this spirit, supporting Sadaat Foundation is not merely a charitable contribution but an opportunity to fulfil a noble Islamic responsibility.
Supporting Sadaat Foundation means investing in the future of girls who deserve equal opportunities to learn, grow and live with dignity. Every contribution, regardless of its size, can help provide a child with education, protection and a chance to build a better future. The foundation can be contacted through its official website, www.sadaatfoundation.org, or by telephone at 0334-9009550. Helping an orphaned girl secure an education and a safe home is not merely an act of charity; it is an investment in a more educated, compassionate and inclusive society.
