PESHAWAR: On the occasion of World Population Day, District Population Welfare Officer Peshawar, Samiullah Khan Khalil, stated in his message that every year, July 11 serves as a vital reminder of the fact that rapid population growth directly impacts our social, economic, and environmental structures. This day offers us an opportunity to reflect on how we can build a sustainable and prosperous society through family planning, education, and healthcare.

Samiullah Khan Khalil emphasized that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Population Welfare Department firmly believes that “a balanced population is the key to development.” Our department is actively working to provide the public with quality services related to family planning, reproductive health, and the well-being of mothers and children.

He further stated that their efforts are aimed at empowering every individual, especially youth and women, to make informed decisions and contribute positively to society. We must create a balance between our resources and growing needs to ensure better opportunities for future generations.

Samiullah Khan Khalil urged everyone to pledge on this day to act as responsible citizens by promoting population balance, healthy lifestyles, and education and awareness — so that the future of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Pakistan remains bright and secure.
“Fewer Children, Prosperous Life — The Way Forward.”
