KOHAT: Two brave sons of the security forces hailing from Kohat district, Muhammad Rashid and Muhammad Naseem, who attained the great status of martyrdom by sacrificing their lives for the country and the nation, were laid to rest with full official honors in front of thousands of tears in the village Surgul, a suburb of Kohat, on Thursday.
The funeral prayers of the martyrs, beside others, were also attended by the Chairman Public Safety Commission Daud Shah Afridi MPA, Commissioner Kohat Division Syed Motasim Billah Shah, Deputy Commissioner Kohat Abdul Akram Chitrali, high-ups of the Pakistan Army and security forces and government officials, as well as relatives, local dignitaries and the general public in large number.
It may be recalled that these soldiers were martyred on July 4 in Lakki Marwat district of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
After the funeral, Daud Shah Afridi MPA and Commissioner Kohat laid floral wreaths on the graves of the martyrs. They while expressing their deep grief and sorrow, paid rich tributes to the sacrifices of the martyrs. They said that their sacrifices for the country and the nation will not go in vain and will definitely bear fruit.
They while expressing sympathies with the bereaved families of the martyrs, prayed for their elevation and granting courage to bear this irreparable lose with patience and fortitude.
