Faisal Karim Kundi Meets Asian and European No. 1 Mahnoor and Pakistan No. 1 Sehrish

PESHAWAR: Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Faisal Karim Kundi, has reaffirmed his commitment to promoting and empowering the talented youth of the province, particularly in the field of sports. He made these remarks while meeting with Mahnoor, ranked number one in both Asia and Europe in squash, and her sister Sehrish, who currently holds the top squash ranking in Pakistan.
Describing their consistent achievements as a source of pride for Pakistan, the Governor said:
“The success of these two young women is not only a victory for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa but for the entire nation. Our girls are talented they simply need encouragement and opportunities to excel.”
Governor Kundi emphasized that no time will be wasted in supporting and highlighting the potential of such bright stars from the province. As part of this commitment, he announced that a special awards ceremony will soon be held in Qaraf, organized by the Governor House, to honor athletes who have brought recognition to the province through their outstanding performance.
He assured Mahnoor and Sehrish that the Governor House will provide them with full institutional support and make every effort to help them continue their sports journey with the facilities and opportunities they deserve.
The meeting highlights the increasing focus of the provincial leadership on youth empowerment, women’s participation in sports, and the promotion of KP’s image on international platforms.
