Former HOD Philosophy, Punjab University Lahore, Applauds Services for Thalassemia Patients

Peshawar: The Hamza Foundation Welfare Thalassemia Center and Blood Transfusion Services, Peshawar, had the honor of hosting Prof. Dr. Shaqufta Begum, former Head of the Philosophy Department at Punjab University, Lahore.

Dr. Shaqufta Begum was warmly welcomed by Mr. Ijaz Ali Khan, Founder and Chairman of Hamza Foundation, along with her accompanying colleagues from Lahore. During the visit, she was given a comprehensive briefing by Mr. Ijaz Ali Khan and Dr. Tariq Khan, Medical Director of Hamza Foundation, about the various departments and humanitarian services provided by the organization.

The distinguished guest also visited the children undergoing treatment for Thalassemia and Hemophilia, personally meeting with young patients and distributing gifts among them, bringing smiles to their faces.

Dr. Shaqufta Begum highly commended the noble mission of Hamza Foundation in supporting the underprivileged and medically vulnerable population of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, particularly children battling lifelong blood disorders.

In recognition of her visit and support, Ijaz Ali Khan presented the official Hamza Foundation shield to Prof. Dr. Shaqufta Begum as a token of appreciation.

The visit was marked by solidarity, compassion, and encouragement for the ongoing efforts of Hamza Foundation in the fight against Thalassemia and other genetic blood disorders.
