Youth, Women, Minorities to Play Key Roles in PPP Revival

PESHAWAR: An important organizational meeting of Pakistan Peoples Party PK-79 was held at the provincial secretariat under the chairmanship of Peshawar Division President Misbahuddin. The meeting was attended by Misbahuddin, Deputy General Secretary of Peshawar Division Tariq Rahim, Provincial General Secretary of Peoples Youth Organization Ziaullah Jan, Jan Ashraf Khan, Nawab Khattak, Chairman Asif Baghi, Hidayat Khan, Imran Ahmad, and office-bearers, workers, and organizational representatives from various wards and union councils of PK-79.

During the meeting, detailed discussions were held to activate and organize the party at all levels within PK-79. Key decisions were made regarding the current political situation, the party’s organizational structure, the activation of workers, and public outreach campaigns.

It was resolved that:

The party will be reorganized from the grassroots level — union councils, wards, and neighborhood levels.

Ideological, loyal, and active workers will be brought to leadership roles.

Regular monthly organizational meetings will be held.

Youth, women, and minorities will be mobilized within party ranks.

Organizational development and upcoming local government elections were also discussed in detail.

It was decided to unite the party ideologically and organize it at ward and union council levels.

Media and social media teams will be assigned effective roles to disseminate the party’s message widely.

While addressing the meeting, PPP Peshawar Division President Misbahuddin stated:

Peshawar has always been a stronghold of the Peoples Party. We will revive this historical legacy. By organizing the party from the ground up, we will transform it into a strong political force. The party will be united at the grassroots level and organized at the ward and union council levels. Loyal and ideological workers will be promoted within the party. Regular monthly meetings will be held to review the performance of office-bearers.”

Misbahuddin directed all office-bearers and workers to fulfill their responsibilities diligently to make the party a strong and active force.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the leadership reaffirmed their commitment to continue the struggle for public rights in light of the ideology of the party’s martyred leaders and vowed to make PPP a powerful political force once again in PK-79.
