KP’s Areeb Khan and Fahad Majeed, Army’s Fatima Danish, and Sindh’s Sara Danish Win Titles

PESHAWAR: The All Pakistan Table Tennis Master Cup, organized under the HOPE Program by the Pakistan Table Tennis Federation and the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Table Tennis Association, concluded successfully at the Peshawar Sports Complex. The event saw thrilling performances from young talent across the country in both Under-12 and Under-15 categories.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Areeb Khan clinched the title in the Under-15 Boys’ category after a nail-biting 3–2 victory against Sindh’s Arham. The final scores were 11-9, 8-11, 11-8, 9-11, and 11-7. In the Under-12 Boys’ category, Fahad Majeed, also from KP, beat Punjab’s Ibrahim in straight sets (11-8, 11-8) to secure first place.

In the girls’ competitions, Pakistan Army’s Fatima Danish won the Under-15 title after a fiercely contested match against Sindh’s Khuria Yasin, ending 3–2 (11-8, 10-12, 11-9, 9-11, 11-9). Meanwhile, Sindh’s Sara Danish emerged victorious in the Under-12 Girls’ event, defeating KP’s Adina Ahmeem (11-8, 11-9).

The tournament was organized in two phases: the first involved three days of professional training under qualified coaches, and the second phase featured competitive matches among the trainees. The Under-12 winners will go on to represent Pakistan in the Asian HOPE Program.

At the closing ceremony, Asghar Syed, CEO of Ruwait Foods, served as the chief guest and distributed trophies and prizes among the winners. He was accompanied by Additional Secretary P&D Taufiq Ahmed, Senior Vice President KP Table Tennis Association Kifayatullah, Provincial Secretary Ahmed Nawaz Alizai, HOPE Program Head Coach Absar Ali, Assistant Coach Iqra Rehman, Amna, and other distinguished guests.

The event was hailed as a major success in promoting grassroots-level table tennis and identifying young talent from across Pakistan.
